China Vanke Requests 90-Day Extension for 2 Billion Yuan Bond Repayment
China Vanke Debt Extension Proposal
**China Vanke** has formally moved to restructure the timeline for a **2 billion yuan** bond repayment. This obligation was originally scheduled for settlement on **December 15**, but the developer is now seeking to push the deadline further into the **2026** fiscal year.
The core of the proposal involves extending the existing grace period by an additional **90 trading days**. If approved by creditors, this adjustment would effectively move the final expiration date to **April 29**.
To secure this extension, the developer has proposed a **one-year deferral** of the principal. This arrangement includes the use of project receivables as credit enhancements to provide additional security for bondholders.
Under the terms of the request, China Vanke intends to settle all overdue interest by the conclusion of the new grace period. This maneuver highlights the ongoing liquidity management efforts within the sector as major players navigate shifting capital requirements.
